DAY 1 – Pickup time at Lamezia Terme Airport, Chef Luciano will be meet you at the airport for the welcoming.
A shuttle service will transfer you to the Agriturismo Donna Beatrice. Accommodation and welcome dinner.
DAY 2 – Gerace and Cimina’
Guided tour of Gerace, one of the most beautiful and rich in the history of Calabria and Italy. Still maintains the appearance of a fortress still today.
Walkthrough the local craft shops, including the famous ceramics.
Lunch at Il Lupo Cattivo and afternoon transfer to Cimina for Cacicavallo at Romano Cheese Factory.
Return for dinner to Donna Beatrice with traditional music and food.
DAY 3 – Bianco – Bova
Morning visit of Villa Romana di Casignana at a few minutes away from our accommodation to follow a tasting of Passito Mantonico and Greco di Bianco at one of the local Wineries.
Around lunchtime, we will move to Bova for a typical meal with a traditional menu at Kalos Trattoria.
In the afternoon, guided tour of Bova: one of the most important Greek centers in Calabria, where even today the ancient language of Homer is spoken. The visit along the historic center is suggestive, full of narrow streets, small open spaces, noble palaces, arcades and views of the coast.
Dinner at Bianco and overnight staying at Donna Beatrice.

DAY 4 – Reggio Calabria
today in the city, shopping and Aperitivo on the seafront at Sottozero Patio
Afternoon visit Crisera winery with dinner and cooking class with local chefs inside the cellar.
Accommodation Le Saline Resort
DAY 5 – Sicily full day – Taormina and Messina
An early morning to head Barone Villagrande winery near Taormina for a wine tasting and lunch with a suggestive view of the Etna Volcano.
Afternoon visit of Taormina to the Ancient Greek Theater and the Gardens of the Villa Comunale.
Dinner Don Ciccio Trattoria and return to Le Saline Resort for the evening.
DAY 6 – Bagnara and Tropea
Morning visit of Bagnara Calabra (Torre Aragonese, Ponte di Caravilla) to continue the trip to Tropea with lunch at La Pentola d’Oro.
In the afternoon on the way back we will stop for dinner at Agriturismo Alle Ginestre in Villa San Giovanni and return to Le Saline Resort
DAY 7 – After breakfast and greetings, we will direct to the airport to return to Toronto. While heading the airport we will stop at Olearia Costantino DOP for a visit and a tasting of olive oil.
