April 17: Arrival

  • We are meeting at Villa Santa Caterina for accommodation and a welcome dinner at 6 pm.

April 18: Diamante & Santa Maria del Cedro

  • Morning: Visit to Santa Maria del Cedro for a Cedro farm tour and tasting session.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Laboratorio del Gusto with a cooking demo.
  • Afternoon: Cruise to Dino’s Island, with a tour of the Grotta Azzurra and Grotta del Leone from the exterior, followed by a visit to Arcomagno by sea. Aperitivo on the boat near Arcomagno.
  • Evening: Return to Diamante for a pizza night and a leisurely walk by the sea.

April 19: Fiumefreddo Bruzio

  • Tour the stunning village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio.
  • Lunch at Osteria Convivio, hosted by the local Proloco.
  • Return to the hotel and dinner at La Cambusa.

EASTER SUNDAY – April 20: Tropea: Coastal Charm and Local Flavors

  • After breakfast, depart for Tropea for a walking tour of the historic center, including the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell’Isola and charming alleyways.
  • Lunch at a seaside restaurant featuring freshly caught fish and regional specialties.
  • Free time to explore Tropea’s beaches, shop for local products, or enjoy a gelato by the shore.
  • Return to Villa Santa Caterina for dinner.

PASQUETTA – April 21: Pizzo & Spilinga

  • Visit Spilinga for a tasting at Nduja San Donato.
  • Lunch at Il Tiglio, sampling local Calabrian specialties.
  • Night visit to Castello Murat and Piedigrotta in Pizzo, ending with Tartufo gelato at Bar Ercole.
  • Return to Villa Santa Caterina.

April 22: Corigliano – Buffalo Farm

  • Early breakfast and departure for Corigliano Calabro to visit La Favella Buffalo Farm for a tour and tasting.
  • Lunch at A Loggia Trattoria.
  • Accommodation at Agriturismo Malena, followed by a cooking class.

April 23: Longobucco & Cooking Class

  • After breakfast, visit Longobucco for:
    • The Weaving Museum (Celestino)
    • Bakery “Bottega del Pane” for a bread-making demonstration
    • The Permanent Exhibition of Crafts and Ancient Trades
  • Lunch at Trattoria da Maria.
  • Evening cooking class with Chef Luciano at Agriturismo Malena.

April 24: Cirò & Rossano

  • Visit Nicodemo Librandi Winery for a guided tour and lunch.
  • Explore the Liquorice Museum in Rossano, home of the Amarelli family.
  • Return to Agriturismo Malena for dinner.

April 25: Cosenza & Rende

  • Guided tour of Cosenza’s Old Town, including the Duomo and Frederick II’s Castle.
  • Aperitivo at Antico Caffè Renzelli.
  • Visit Rende’s historical center, followed by dinner.
  • Return to Agriturismo Malena.

April 26: Sila & Surroundings

  • Ride the Steam Train to San Giovanni in Fiore, visiting the Abbey and enjoying lunch at Cascina da Fiore.
  • Return to Camigliatello Silano for dinner and shopping.

April 27: Departure

  • After breakfast, transfer to Lamezia Terme Airport for departure. Expected arrival at 6 AM.
